As a teenager it was quite amazing to bring this album home and listen to a german band that was actually sharing a similar taste in music. The originals of these six cover songs are by Bachman Turner Overdrive, The Saints, Neil Young, Iggy & The Stooges, The Beatles, and Hüsker Dü.
The Strangemen did a good job - and they rocked. They felt like the german Cosmic Psychos or so. And they opened for Grant Hart in 1989. Listen to their version of Hüsker Dü's "Diane" - it's epic !
