Farmers Manual is an electronic music and visual art group, founded in Vienna/Austria in the beginning of the nineties. Like many on the Vienna scene, Farmers Manual use cheap technology to maximum effect, and prefer mucking about with assumptions about the "proper" rendering of beat-oriented (and sometimes beatless) electronic music designed for a post-dancefloor audience. Both fascinating and musically enjoyable, "No Backup" is among Mego's finest releases to date.
