Frank Koellges is a Cologne based jazz percussionist, composer and performance-artist. To name a few of his works: He played drums on Die Krupps' "Stahlwerksymphonie" in 1981, he opened up the Documenta in 1987 and is working since 1997 on his project "Die Planetenfahrer" in which he is organising a journey around the world for 100 artists, scientists and technicians on a container-ship that is reconstructed to a university ! (No Joke !)
Jeffrey Morgan is playing the alto sax and living in Cologne, too. He is a fascinating resonant continent and maybe one of the most original and innovative saxophonists of today. He played with Alan Silva, Keith Rowe, Peter Kowald, Paul Lytton, Thomas Lehn und Xu Feng Xia.In 1997 both formed the duo "The Nail Nippers" and released this limited to 100 copies cd-r called "Bitin' Thru". Get this great collaboration here:

I don't know what you meen by "fascinating resonant continent" but Jeffrey Morgan is one of best sax players around. Check out his solo disc "Quartz & Crow Feather" - he's got a new duo album with bassist Peter Jacquemyn coming out soon on Foreign Frequency Records
Thanks for the hints !
