Wrnlrd is a one-man experimental black metal project from Arlington, VA.
The 'Death Drive' EP is beyond experimental. It's tearing through bits of blackened metal, death growls, noisey drones, and even a somber piano piece. There is so much to discover. Even the aformentioned free-jazz horns.
This one-man-band is putting out some of the most forward-thinking metal being played today. It’s an interpretation of black metal that actually offers exciting, even extreme diversions from the rote routine strictly defined genres inevitably encourage.
